The ROI On Trade is critical to the delivery of Irelands growth ambition, representing 55 PERCENT of the total Ireland NSV and 65 PERCENT of the Ireland trading profit. It operates in a highly competitive environment with a wide portfolio, with Guinness at its heart and innovation as the fuel for growth. Growing share of the core pub business across Guinness, beer and spirits is the top priority. About the role The role of the Account Executive is to own and deliver the Diageo performance and growth targets within their territory. The role is responsible for the most important element of our business; delivering sales, share and profit growth in the territory by ensuring our customer, category and brand plans are brilliantly in outlet. The Account Executive will be accountable for managing all Tier 1 customer accounts directly where the primary objective is to secure distribution across the full Diageo portfolio and activate our brands across different occasions to deliver a triple win for the customer, consumer and Diageo. It is the role of the Account Executive to ensure that all the outlets in the territory are perfectly executed versus our predefined outlet execution standards. The Account Executive is responsible for delivering agreed visibility standards, ensuring best in class quality and coordinating world class activation, delivered through our activation partners. The Account Executive directs this activity within their territory and will play a leadership role across the Hub team. In this role, you 'll Deliver agreed Volume & Share, cash and profit targets for the territory. Direct management of all Tier 1 outlets in the territory, secure distribution and pouring of the full Diageo portfolio in all outlets in the territory, own and deliver the relationship and customer engagement plan for the territory Operate as a consultant to customers through the creation and execution of high impact Joint Business Plans (JBPs) Leverage data, analytics and insights that unlock sustainable growth opportunities for Diageo and the customer. Return on investment maximised through properly controlled and managed customer P&L. Incremental growth opportunities are identified including external events and swiftly actioned through the internal network of commercial cross-functional resources. Sell-out, brilliant execution and Quality focus will be at the core of everything that we do Orchestration of support roles within the Hub and external partners to drive exceptional performance outcomes Influencing to deliver full QDP3 territory targets through external partner across Tier 2 and 3 outlets. About you Experienced - Highly commercial sales professional, ideally with On Trade experience Relationships Has the ability to build strong relationships with customers and route to market. Commercial Acumen strong commercial understanding, can manage ROI, forecasting and investment decisions, P&L literacy, strong analytical capability (data and insight), ability to determine investment impacts on margin. Knowledge of the territory, the trade and the RTM relationships. Target Driven Will to win. You will have the drive, appetite and ambition to excel within a challenging target driven environment. Highly Organised can manage multiple priorities. Agile must be comfortable adapting and flexing workloads to accommodate business needs.
