The role will involve developing applications and libraries for our algorithmic trading system. The work will involve high-performing, low latency code. The developer will be expected to work the full development life-cycle from requirement sourcing, architecture & design, through to support and maintenance. 39k's open and collaborative environment encourages input and new ideas from everyone on the team.
Qualifications:
- 0-5 years experience in C++ in a Unix/Linux and/or Windows environment
- Experience in multi-threaded and real-time programming applications
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work quickly to complete development cycles
- Network/socket programming experience is a plus, but not necessary
- Passion for solving complex problems through the use of technology
- Critical reasoning skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
