RWS Division:

Group IT enables the organisation to achieve its strategic direction whilst driving shareholder value. The division establishes common standards and IT governance across the business. It further develops and manages core applications enabling smooth operational running of the organisation across all functions. We drive and deliver future roadmaps aligned to the overall strategic direction of the business. Group IT support all our users globally, manage the information security operation and safeguard all our assets. Our core Group IT functions include: Technical Architecture, Network & Voice, IT Security, Service Delivery, Solutions Delivery and Asset Management. Group IT has a global presence across all regions with over 200 staff.

About The Role:

The Group IT Data Analyst will help to translate business problems using reports into problem statements and design analytical frameworks to address them. Additionally you'll be expected to collaborate with the support teams and engineers to plan and drive its design, planning and execution. Further it will be expected that you contribute through presentations, reports and handle discussions in structured meeting/forums. The requirements for this role mainly is to bring analyses and to understand how data can be sourced and aligned and execution plans developed as and when required. Ensure all internal and external program dependencies are mapped, managed and tracked as per shared requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Work towards prioritizing business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities areas
  • ITSM tool understanding for Servicenow, Service Desk +, JIRA, etc.
  • Organizing and transforming information into comprehensible current structures
  • Using data to predict trends & forecast
  • Preparing reports and presenting these to management or clients as and when required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • SharePoint, Kanban experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to impact decisions and effect change without being confrontational
  • Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Well organized with strong time-management skills
  • An innovative, analytical thinker with track record in influencing decision makers, with an ability to drive adoption across both IT and the business
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills; ability to communicate complex issues clearly
  • Good networking and communication skills
  • Ability to work in challenging environment to tight deadlines
