NXP is looking for passionate, talented and self-driven smartcard and eUICC professionals in multiple locations to become part of its eUICC Team that will drive the adoption of embedded SIM technologies in NXP SE products. This team is part of SE Software CoE delivering best-in-class software for eUICC supporting NXP’s Secure Element portfolio.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development, execution of test cases and analysis of failures for eUICC features with multiple MNOs on the NXP’s flagship embedded software smart card product.
  • Support the core R&D engineering team with test, debug and engineering support with focus on the eUICC features.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of the test automation framework used to test this. The framework is developed in Java and a proprietary scripting language. The engineer will be required to understand specific requirements, propose solutions, implement and test the same.

Your Profile:

  • Motivated to work with a global team spanning multiple time zones in a fast paced environment
  • Prior experience will include white box testing of any of the SIMA/ETSI/SGPP standards on embedded systems.
  • Good spoken and written skills with ability to draft concise technical reports.
  • Must be familiar with white box software testing practice in an embedded environment.
  • Prior experience with interaction with MNOs and testing of eUICC/UICC devices will be a plus.
  • Familiarity with usage, development and maintenance of test automation frameworks such as Junit is preferable.
  • Familiarity with source control tools such as SVN is required.
