- 5-8 years of professional experience with Android development, frameworks, and the app-submission process, experience in leading a team is a plus
- Must have hands on experience in launching 3-5 Mobile Apps on Android
- Strong knowledge of Java is a must, experience with Groovy is a plus
- Must have understanding of SDLC process, experience with Agile methodologies preferred
- Solid foundation in object-oriented programming and the MVC paradigm
- Demonstrable knowledge of HTTP/S and how apps interact with APIs in an enterprise setting
- Attention to detail and familiarity with native app UI/UX standards
- Exposure to Google services, such as Google Cloud Messaging and the processes involved to configure, test, and launch
- Familiarity with Gradle or other dependency/package management systems (NPM or Maven experience is a plus)
- Proficient understanding of source code management tools, Git experience is a plus
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect native applications to back-end services
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information to non-technical associates
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile, collaborative environment
- Experience with HTML web development is preferred, but not required
- Experience working with iOS, Windows Phone, Phone Gap, Cordova, or other tools is a plus.
